3063.1 | .PS files not printable on LA50 | MPO::WHITTALL | Charlie Whittall @ MAXCIM Prog. Off. | Mon Jun 03 1991 12:23 | 13 |
| Hi Debbie...
Are you trying to print the .PS files...
If so, that's your problem..
These files are in POSTSCRIPT format. They require a
postscript printer, not a LA50..
Thanks
Charlie..
BTW.. some of the files are BIG ie 400+ pages

| I would very much like to have a copy of the COOK BOOK. Can someone
tell me how to get it, or will someone copy it for me. Thanks . VIOLET

| To get copies of the files see note #2985.5 for the
location of the files... (I just did a directory,
and they are still there).
Simply copy the file to your directory (see subsequent
notes on how to do that), and print to a PostScript
printer..
As to whether or not a Printserver 40 is one, I can't
help on that end... (I believe it IS, but I've been
wrong once before :-)
Thanks
Charlie

| Printservers, model 20 and 40 - are postscript printers. But be sure
that you are printing to the POSTSCRIPT queue. (e.g., there are
usually two queues set up for a postscript printer -- one for regular
ASCII files (VAXmail, ALL-IN-1), and one for postscript files.
Good luck!

| Even when printed 2 UP 2 SIDED, I wound up with a stack of paper
a foot high! Be selective about what sections you want.
