Or the liqueur, creme d'almond(e), used to make Pink Ladies. (Or was it Pink Squirrels? I forget.) In my frivolous youth, the first alcoholic drinks I could tolerate were the sweet-liqueur-and-cream ones, such as the above, or Grasshoppers, or Sombreros... Check your local package store. We just bought a bottle of creme de almond (or creme de noya) at ours, it's made by Leroux (sp?), the folks that make all those different flavored schnapps ... Bibi |
