If you are not adverse to "box" mixes, take one of the quick bread mixes -- I use the Nut Bread, and add appleasaue and cinnamon to the mix --- really turns out well. I also put a cinnamon and sugar crumble mix on the top. | |||||

I made this last weekend it is very moist! 1 stick margarine 2/3 cup sugar 2 eggs 2 cups flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 tblsp lemon juice 1/3 cup milk 3 coarsely grated apples 3/4 cupts chopped nuts Cream sugar and margarine. Add in eggs. Beat in flour, baking soda, baking powder, milk and lemon juice. Beat until mixed. Stir in grated apples and nuts. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 50 - 60 minutes |
