You will notice that this conference does not have a sign-in note. That is
intentional. I personally find that there is very little in NOTES more
annoying than seeing a new note in a conference, waiting several minutes to
connect to the conference, and then finding it isn't really a note with any
information, just yet another "hi, I'm so-and-so" reply to the sign-in note.
For that reason, I do not allow sign-in notes in any conference that I
moderate.
There will therefore be NO SIGN-IN NOTE in COOKS.
Yes, this is an arbitrary decision on my part as moderator. I am willing to
listen to counter-arguments, **VIA MAIL TO PSW::WINALSKI ONLY**. Attempts
to discuss the issue in the conference will be deleted.
