You can find licorice tea in most health food stores. Try the
Alchemist on Rt. 85 in Hudson, across from the Victory grocery store.

Anyone with any other sugguestions as to where I may find this licorice
    tea?

I didn't find any in the Health food place in Hudson. No luck at the
health food place located in the white building across from Burger King
in Westboro or the health food shop at in the Natick mall...

Is there a 'Coffee Connection' near you?

If not, it may be worth the trip to one. I know there's
a store in Lexington, Newton Centre and Coolidge Corner.

"Coffee Connection"....never heard of it, but will look in the phone
book for any others that may be closer to me, if not, I guess it's off
    to Lexington.

BTW where is lexington? And does anyone know the best way to get there
    from Hudson/Maynard?

2677.5Coffee Connection in LexingtonTOOK::ORENSTEINMon Oct 29 1990 12:4423
From Maynard take Rt. 27 (North?) to Rt.2 East. to Rt. 128 South.

Take first exit off of 128. It's Trapelo Road. At end of exit
    take a left toward Waltham.

At second full set of lights (you will see a gas station on 3 of 4
corners) take a left onto LEXINGTON street. This becomes WALTHAM
street when you enter Lexington. Drive this street about 2 miles.
At end of street you will be in Lexington Center and the Coffee
Connection will be infront of you, but to the right.

Thie trip will take close to 40 minutes depending on the traffic.

From Hudson take the Mass Pike (East) to Rt. 128 North. Take
the Trapelo road exit, but turn Right at end of exit toward Waltham.

    Follow from above.

    Hope this helps!

I'm pretty sure there's a Coffee Connection in Wellesley. I saw
it while I was standing around waiting for a bike race to blow through.

From rt 2 east, get on 128 (95) NORTH 2 exits to the rt 4-225 exit. Head east
on rt 4 into Lexington. Much shorter.

    Re: .8

If I'm not mistaken, it might be even shorter to take the Waltham St.
Lexington exit off of Rte 2, just past the 128 exit, and follow
it directly into Lexington center. It's certainly more scenic.

2677.10This is getting too confusingTOOK::ORENSTEINWed Oct 31 1990 14:549
Yes, its shorter and easy if you are coming from the EAST. But
from the West, you have to get off the exit, bear right, take another
right, and take a left just to get to Waltham street.

I tried to describe a way with many easy landmarks for someone
not at all familiar with the area.

Yes, I see your point of course. Some of us thrill-seekers might
like the challenge of making two rights and a left though.
    Life is short.

Thank you all for your help in locating some licorice tea!! It is
for a gift, so you've helped make someone VERY happy.

This weekend I ventured out to find the Coffee Connection and viola~,
licorice tea! Although I had to leave empty handed (they didn't have
any stock), they said that they would order me some. They also said
that they welcome phone/fax/and mail orders.

If you're in the Acton area, you might want to try the Daily Grind.
It's a new coffee place that supposed to be like Coffee Connection
(but I haven't had a chance to go in myself yet). It's located in
the mall at the intersection of Rt 2A and Rt 27 in Acton (same place
as CVS, Crimson Travel and Honigsbaums).

    Conni,

Great timing!! I was planning to head in that direction tonight
for another reason, and from your directions, will be going right
past this place. Guess it would be a shame not to stop in.

    	Thank you again....

I like the Licorice Spice tea offered by STASH Tea. They are a mail
order company in Oregon and have many delicious teas, but the Licorice
Spice is my favorite. For a free catalog call or write:
