    			MAPLE BAKED APPLES
    
    
    	5 Red baking apples
    	5 Tbls. maple syrup, real preferred
    	1 Cup apple cider, unpasturized preferred
    	Ground cinnamon
    	
    
    	Core the apples.
    
    	Remove a small spiral of peel from the top
    	1/4 of each apple.
    
    	Place the apples around the edges of a microwave
    	proof casserole dish.
    
    	Pour the cider onto and around the apples.
    
    	Drizzle 1 tbls. of syrup over each apple.
    
    	Dust lightly with cinnamon.
    
    	Cover with casserole lid and micorwave for 10 mins.
    	on high or until apples are fork tender.
    
    	Note:
    
    	This can be done in a conventional oven but cooking
    	time is 20 - 25	mins. at 350 deg. F or until tender.
