2646.1 | But I don't know where to get them | RANGER::CANNOY | Hey, girls! Bring rusty pliers. | Tue Oct 02 1990 15:25 | 4 |
I think you may mean Northern Spy apples. I have never heard of spice apples. Tamzen

You could try Fairview Farms in Groton, they carry a lot of different varieties of apples this time of year. It is on Rt. 119.
2646.4 | Try Chase Farms | EVETPU::FRIDAY | This space available for eminent domain | Wed Oct 03 1990 11:45 | 8 |
Also, try Chase Farms in Littleton, Mass, also on 119, a short distance from 495. This is a self-service fruit stand and cider mill. Just drive in. Although I don't recall seeing Northern Spy apples there, they do sell several varieties. Further, their search for inexpensive cider apples takes them pretty far afield, so they just might know where you could get some.
2646.5 | Try Woodmont Orchards, Hollis, NH | SSGBPM::COMISKEY | Wed Oct 03 1990 15:59 | 8
Hi - I've bought them in past years at Woodmont Orchards on Rte. 122 in Hollis, NH. I was just there the other day and didn't see any, but then I wasn't looking specifically for Northern Spies. Kate |
