2644.0. "Professional kitchen equipment by mail order." by BRABAM::PHILPOTT (Col I F 'Tsingtao Dhum' Philpott) Tue Oct 02 1990 05:22
Though probably only of interest to British readers, these people do do
international mail order. Their catalogue is a veritable Aladin's Cave
There prices are reasonable (some things are cheaper than Lakeland Plastics,
who are better known for "mass market" kitchen essentials. Incidentally they
have no minimum order, but do offer sliding discounts on large orders (15%
on 300, and "details on request" over 500 - which considering a 22 piece
cased set of proffesional knives costs 850 (for the fanciest set) may not
be as outlandish as it seems). Perhaps we should form a "DEC cook's society"
to get maximum discounts?
We have bought several things from them, but I have no other connection with
them.
