2626.1 | Places to get boxes in Nashua. | SQM::MADDEN | | Fri Sep 21 1990 11:26 | 13 |

In the Nashua area you can buy boxes from Party Time over on West
Hollis St. or from Rachel's cake decorating shop on Kinsley St.
Rachel's rates are usually much more reasonable.
Both places also sell cardboard cake bases, and other cake decorating
supplies.
You can also get boxes and cardboard bases at wholesale prices from
Nashua Tobacco and a few other places, but the minimum quantity is
something like 200 - 500.

2626.2 | in Arlington, MA | CURIE::LATVALLA | | Fri Sep 21 1990 12:00 | 12 |
| In Arlington on Mass. Ave. (on the right as you head west on Mass.
Ave.) there is a store called Paper and More (it is a typical
party/paper supply store). Attached to this store is a warehouse (I
can't remember the name, but it seems to be associated with Paper and
More) that has all sorts of good stuff (at Discount Prices!!)
including: cake boxes, aluminum pans, paper plates and cups (styrofoam,
colored, paper, etc.), plastic glasses, restaurant supplies (large
containes of pickles, ketchup, etc., condiment dispensers, etc.). I
could go on and on. A great place to go if you are going to be
throwing a party for cheap (and in some instances bulk) supplies.

2626.3 | In Marlboro.. or Natick | USMFG::KMONAGHAN | | Mon Oct 01 1990 17:02 | 9 |
| You could try Paperama in Natick. They carry all kinds of cake
and candy making supplies.
Also, there is a place in Marlboro called the Party Place and they
also carry all types of cake and candy packaging materials.
Good luck.

2626.5 | found 'em! | TLE::EIKENBERRY | A goal is a dream with a deadline | Tue Oct 02 1990 18:01 | 7 |
| Thanks for the suggestions...I went to Party Time in Nashua, and was
thrilled to discover that they had a pretty complete selection of
Wilton's cake decorating supplies! And, of course, I had to pick up
a copy of the Wilton 1991 Cake Decorating yearbook while I was there!

2626.8 | Recycle tins... | CCAD23::TAN | My Teleport is Faulty! | Wed May 26 1993 17:47 | 10 |
| Ovaltine or Milo tins are great for decorating. (After you've used the
contents that is!) I cover the sides and the top of the lid with pastel
fabric and tie a big bow around the base of the tin. You can also insert
a small posy of flowers into the bow.
They're suitable for storing small cup-cakes and cookies.

joyce
