2437.0. "POPSICKLES?" by FDCV07::HSCOTT (Lynn Hanley-Scott) Wed May 30 1990 16:30

I have the molds to put in the freezer, but need a recipe for homemade
    popsickles. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Lynn

That's easy! Any juice will do...except maybe V8. My favorites are
Welch's grape and After the Fall watermelon and lemonade. I can eat
as many as I want with no guilt!

You may want to attempt to copy some FrozFruits flavors. Their banana
and coconut have some milk in them, so I'm not sure how evenly they'd
freeze. Let us know if you try this.

Tupperware has an excellent recipe for home made popsicles. The
    ingredients are:

    Instant Jello (any flavor)
    Kool-aid (any complimenting flavor)

Follow the jello package according to directions as well as the kool-
aid directions. The only difference is to decrease the kool-aid
by using 3/4 of the water.

Mix equal parts of kool-aid and jello, freeze and enjoy.

Make chocolate pudding adding Cool Whip and freeze. They taste just
    like fudgicles.

When my kids were younger, I used to make popsicles in the Tupperware
"Ice Tups", using a mixture made of Jello and a complimentary fruit
juice, but using twice as much of the liquid as "usual" for making
Jello (in other words, using 4 cups of juice instead of 2 cups of
water). This way, the popsicles stayed together somewhat better
than they do when using only liquid, but they didn't taste like
    "Jello-sicles".

Come to think of it, even though my "baby" is going off to college
in the Fall, there's nothing to keep me from making a batch of
    popsicles for ME... :-)

One container of yogart (like Dannon) will make about 3 of those

Tupperware pops. It freezes great and the kids love them. (and its

    healthy)

Does anyone out there know where to by the popsicle forms? I know
years ago Tupperware had them, but prefer to buy them in a regular
store if possible. I am in the Acton, MA area. Thanks!

I saw some in the supermarket the other day. At the Safeway store here
in Colorado Springs however. BUT, I'm sure you would be able to find
    them in most supermarkets.
