I read something in the paper yesterday concerning all the benefits of eating of rice, it included being an excellent source of niacin, calcium etc, low sodium, low cholesterol, and only 80 calories (if I remember correctly) per 1/2 cup serving. Seems rice like the baked potatoe has been taking a bum rap when it's what you add to it that makes it high in calories! |
