               FRUIT CREAM CHEESE PIE

1 baked (pastry or graham cracker) pie crust 9"
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
    1/4 cup lemon juice
1 3 oz. pkg cream cheese
    2 egg yolks
    1 cup crushed pineapple, drained

Put condensed milk and lemon juice into mixing bowl. Stir until
mixture thickens. Beat cream cheese, which should be at room temp.
until softened. Add 1 egg yolk at a time, beating well after each
addition. Add fruit and mix well. Fold the cheese-fruit mixture
into the milk mixture. Put into pastry shell. Top with meringue,
and bake @ 325 until lightly brown, about 15 minutes. Cool and
    eat. Keep refrigerated.

NOTE: I have always used the pineapple, but the recipe actually
says you can substitute any of the following fruits:
    1 cup slices strawberries
    1 cup fresh rasberries
1 1/2 cups sour pitted cherries, drained
    2 medium banannas sliced

I always use a graham cracker crust also.
