The first note I wrote in this conference resulted in some good and useful information. Let me see if I can go 2 for 2. My mother has an electric frypan that is huge and indestructible. It measures about 18" long, 12" wide, and 12" high with the top. The NONSTICK surface cannot be scratched. She uses metal utensils all the time. She's had it for at least 5 years now and it is just as good as new. I asked her where she got it....it was a gift from a person who got it in one of those home demos....very expensive... Now....where can I get one? There's very few identifying marks on the pan. On the bottom it says in one place "LEKTRO MAID" and another place is "Miracle Maid West Bend" Can you lead me to a possible supplier? =-=-=-=-=-=-=gary=-=-=-=-=-=-=

I would call West Bend. Years ago (maybe 20), my sister and her husband sold Miracle Maid pots and pans. I helped out at the home demos. The host/hostess would invite 4-6 couples over for dinner and my sister and her husband would prepare dinner using the various MM products from West Bend. I remember it being almost like a magic show. They would cook carrots, cabbage and yams in some of the pots (all without any water being used) and then after the veggies were served, a delicious cake was baked in one of the pans using the juice from the veggies. It was delicious! I haven't even thought about Miracle Maid for years, but I would definately put down the money for their product if I was in the market for cookware. Jodi- | |||||

Re: Last couple-- West Bend still makes a "Stainless Steel" Minimum water cookware called "Permanent" They are *BIG* here in the west with a warehouse and distribution center in a suburb of Denver: Continental Enterprises of Denver Inc. 8011 I70 Frontage Rd N. Arvada,Co. 80002 Ph:(303) 423-8300 They still sell by home demos (MAGIC) mentioned above. I have a set of the stainless ware that I bought 15 years ago and I just had some knobs replaced "FREE" under their lifetime gauarantee.. <DICK> |
