    I found this recipe in the latest issue of Bon Appetit:
    
    This is very simple to prepare and compliments soups or
    main course salads.
    
    2 servings; can be doubled or tripled
    
    1 demi-baquette French bread or 1/2 baguette
    4 oz. Saga blue cheese or 2 oz. blue cheese or 
      Roguefort cheese mixed with 3 tablespoons un-
      salted butter
    Ground or rubbed sage
    Freshly ground pepper
    2 thick-cut slices bacon
    
    1. Cook bacon until crisp, let cool and chop into bite size pieces.
    2. Preheat broiler.  Halve bread lengthwise.  Broil cut side up
       until light brown.  Spread cheese over.  Sprinkle with sage,
       pepper and bacon.  Broil until cheese bubbles.  Serve immediately.
