| Here's a terrific dinner I use on My diet all the time. Here's
some background on "my diet": I'm one of those people who gains
5 pounds between Thxgiving and Newyears, and gets mad, and likes
to take it off quick! This is a fabulous low calorie dinner, I
find filling: You must be a fish lover.
For one:
5 oz white fish - Cod, Haddock, Scrod
Place fish in casserole for one, rub well with lemon juice, add
1 tbsp of white wine, 1 tbsp skim milk, sprinkle 1 tsp breadcrumbs
over-top, dribble one melted teaspoon butter ( optional - depends
on how severe your diet is ) seasonings include: parsley, garlic-
pressed or powdwer, celery salt/seed pepper (to taste of course)
Nuke for 5 minuts, or bake for 12-15.
Served with steamed green beans, and a hearty spinach salad consisting
of lettuce, spinach, green pepper, carrot curls, radish & tomatoe.
(weight watchers has a few tangy low cal dressings 12 cals per svg.)
Other vegetabls I've served it with: Steamed summer squash ( watch
this - you may be too tempted to use butter )
: A combo of carrot spears &
green beens - I always leave
the green beans whole, it has a nice appeal on the plate, combining
it with carrots is good because carrots are higher in cal. and in
combunation with the GB's you use less.
: Cooked ( bioled ) spinach w/
lemin juice
A rice cake with 1 teasp jam is an acceptable desert and quite
rewarding.
This entire meal totals up to less than 400 calories; I will post
the exact caloric value tomorrow after I look it up!
Good luck

| I don't know the exact calorie count on this, but it is good!
3 medium carrots, cut in julienne strips (I have a Mouli)
2 garlic cloves, minced (or pressed in a garlic press)
1 TB olive oil
1 tea oyster sauce
Saute the garlic in the olive oil for about a minute; add carrots and
saute another 3-4 minutes. Then add the oyster sauce and toss. Yum!
