| Here's how my mom does it.(old fashion Korean way).
Put the Ginseng root in the tea-pot and fill it with water.
Let it boil in medium heat for about 20-30 minutes and you got
original Ginseng-tea. You don't have to cut it or wash it before
making tea. After enjoying cup of tea, you can re-use the root
again to make more tea, but it will lose some of it's potency.
After that you can simply chew and eat the roots.
We Korean folks add honey instead of sugar with tea.
We know it's an excellent treatment for stress, and it's a definite
life enhancer.

| Put one or two roots in the medium sized tea-pot. Depending on the
taste of the individual, first time will be experiemental.
Generally, the Korean roots come in maroon or reddish colored, square
box, and sizes are almost equal to each other. It should have Korean
Govt. stamp on it since they run it, they export high quality one's
only, believe it or not. They are 5-6 years old roots only.
They also have in package forms. So all you do is take one and just
add hot water and honey or sugar. I got a gift from my mother-inlaw
from old country a ginseng-root in liquid form in small traditional
Korean pottery like glass, and it is very good. But I have'nt seen
in that form here. (friend of mine owns Oriental store sells ginseng-
root in several different forms_)
