I'm looking specifically for McCormick Pickling Spices. It's for my grandmother and she insists that these are the only ones that she will use her pickles. At Thanksgiving time these are available at Purity Supreme, supposedly. Alas, when asked and when the stores are scoured, Purity can't come up with any pickling spices. Can anyone suggest where these spices are being stocked? Thanks in advance for any help, Russ P.S. Please send any reply to DELNI::GRACE

The best place to look for pickling spices at this time of the year is at your local farm co-op stores, (e.g. United Farmers, Fitchburg, or Lancaster Grain, Lancaster, Agway, Sterling) They carry most of these products year around. Another place you may want to check is with your local Home Economist I know there is an office in Worcester somewhere, dont know the address or phone number, but a local phone book should help.
