1091.0. "STORE: Specialty Food Shopes" by SKIVT::P_MARGOLIS (Paula Beth) Wed Mar 30 1988 14:45

I would like to dedicate this note to specialty food shops. I live
in Vermont, and had a hard time finding the things I need to make
Chinese and Indian food. But yesterday, I found two terrific places:

Kim's Oriental on Susie Wilson Road in Essex Junction
and Origanum on St. Paul St. in Burlington

Origanum has every spice imaginable! Fenugreek, Black Mustard Seed,
Cardomon, Garam Masala, etc. And all types of flours, nuts, seeds,
    etc. Wonderful place!

As the name implies, this is an oriental grocer.

1091.3Indian spices in NHSCIFI::SZYSZLOMon Apr 25 1988 14:078
For those in NH looking for those hard to find Indian spices, an
Indian grocery opened up in Lamplighter Square in Nashua. (across
from the Pheasent Lane Mall) They have a wonderful selection of
spices at reasonable prices. The only drawback is that some of the
spices aren't labeled in English, but the folks that own the place
are very helpful if you known what you're looking for!

Can anyone tell me the name of the specialty meats shop in Cambridge (I
think?). They carry exotic game as well as less mainstream meats. I
think the name starts with an "S".

    					Thanks

I think you might be talking about Savenor's. Julia herself
	shops there I think.
