Oh, I wish I had my Massachusetts phone book! When I read your note, I thought of Lowell, Mass. I am not sure, but I think there used to be a Greek bakery in downtown Lowell.

In the Lowell Yellow pages, the following 2 bakeries sound like they could be Greek (but then again, what does an American Italian know from Greek): Khoury's Bakery 1777 Main (Rt38) Tewksbury 851-9500 Olypmos Bakery 216 Broadway Lowell 452-3366 - JP

FYI: Olympus Bakery on Broadway is a genuine Greek bakery and is still run by a Greek family. I try to stop in whenever I am in the area for their crusty bread. It's worth the trip. It is located in downtown Lowell not too far from City Hall. Good luck, Steve |
