641.0. "APPLE: Apple Cobbler" by VAXINE::THILBERT () Sun Jun 28 1987 00:55

My mother had a recipe years ago for a apple cobbler made with
bisquick. It was on the back of the box some years ago.
Can anyone help me locate this recipe?

                 thanks

Bbuy a box of bisquick and send for the recipe book mentioned
on the box. the book is plenty worth the agravation of a 22 cent
stamp. if you can't find the address let me know and i will send
    you the recipe you need.

Another alternative would be to check out one of those "brand names"
cookbooks, which consist of tons of recipes from product labels.

Couldn't find "apple" cobbler, but they have blueberry.
You could substitute a 21 oz. can of apple pie filling
instead of the blueberries. Heat pie filling to boiling
in sauceplan. Pour into casserole. Continue as directed.

    			BLUEBERRY COBBLER

    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tbsp. cornstarch
4 c. fresh or frozen blueberries
    2 tbsp. water
    1 c. Bisquick baking mix
    1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. chopped pecans, if desired
    1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. margarine or butter, melted

Heat oven to 425. Mix 1/2 c. sugar and the cornstarch
in 2-qt. saucepan; stir in blueberries and water. Heat
to boiling, stirring constantly; boil and stir 1 minute.
Pour into ungreased 1 1/2 qt. casserole. Mix remaining
ingredients until soft dough forms. Drop dough by
6 tablespoonfuls onto hot blueberry mixture. Bake until
    golden brown, about 15 minutes.
