| Fresh coriander, an herb often required for Asian Indian recipes,
can often be found at "The Elegant Farmer" in Chelmsford. It is
in the plaza across the street from the Purity Supreme/Marshalls
(which is right near that horrible intersection of 4, 110, 27, and
a few other roads in Chelmsford Center).

This wonderful herb is also known as cilantro, Mexican parsley or Chinese
parsley. When I tried to find it here in Colorado Springs, very few people
knew it as coriander. Most major supermarkets are beginning to carry a
wide variety of fresh herbs. I have found coriander to be widely available
in all of the major chains here.

| The Taj Oriental Grocery is located in Bedford, Mass. It is a complete
Indian grocery store. Follow Route 3A toward Billerica. Take a right
just before the route 62 intersection.
There are a couple of Indian groceries in Belmont. Take Route 60
exit off from Route 2 (toward Boston) - to Belmont Center.
I'll write more exact directions on return from my next trip.
The Spice Shop in Concord, Massachusetts, has quite a few Indian
spices, pappadums, creamed coconut and cookbooks. The store is
located opposite the Depot.

One of the groceries in Belmont is in Cushing Square.
There is an Indian grocery on River St. in Cambridge just outside of Central Sq.
They have fresh Naan and Samosas, plus lots of dry goods.
Alexander's in various locations around Nashua often has coriander.

There is an Indian grocery store on Moody St. in Waltham, MA. Take Main St.
(Rte. 20?) to Moody St. Then go up about five blocks. It is a little
store on the left-hand side, right next to the Bombay Mahal Indian Restaurant.

| Are there any Indian stores out West of 495? Someone mentioned that
there was one maybe in Maynard on main street and possibly one in
Acton. If so, names of the stores would be helpful, so I can check on
the store hours.

| Joyce Chen in Acton (rt 2a between Littleton and rt 27) has SOME Indian
ingredients.
I go to Nashua (work in LJO, live in Lunenburg), to East-West Grocer in
Lamplighter Square, across from Pheasant Lane. It's better than I'll ever need!
