Heath Bar Delight Mix 1 Cup crushed graham crackers and 1 Cup crushed saltines with 1 stick of melted margarine or butter. Pat firmly into a 9 x 13" pan; bake for 10 minutes at 350 deg. Combine in mixer: 2 small packages instant vanilla pudding 1 C. milk 1 generous qt. of Heath Bar, English Toffee, Butter Pecan or Butter Almond ice cream Mix together thoroughly. Spread over crumbs. Cover mixture with 1 large container of Cool Whip and sprinkle with 6 crushed Heath Bars (they come 6 to a bag). Freeze. Let stand at room temperature a short time before cutting.

I've made this dessert several times, experimenting with various ice cream flavors and it's delicious. FYI, I use either the saltless saltines or the ones with low salt. |
