APRICOT NECTAR I received a reply to my eggnog recipe request for apricot eggnog which requires the ingredient: apricot nectar. I am unsure of what this is and where I can find it to buy. The recipe sounds absolutely scrumptious but I am unsure if this is a liquor, a juice, something like honey, or none of the above. Thank you for any assistance anyone can give as to what/where this ingredient is.

It's juice. The reason they call it nectar is that it ends up thicker and sweeter than other juices because the fruit is so sweet. So, it's not really like apple or grape juices. You can find it in the canned juice section of your grocery store. --L | |||||

Apricot nectar is in the juice section of your supermarket. It comes in a can and is thicker in texture than juice. |
