I agree with SK. Transfers work better on this type of hand, because
2-way Stayman requires an additional round, and you risk losing your
suits. Personally, I prefer 2-level transfers to 2-way Stayman. Here,
you can't find out about clubs unless somebody starts bidding them or
asking about them.

1949.3 | Where do you want to go today? 7C, 7S, or 7N? | DAVIDB::DMILLER | This bug fix broke what??????? | Tue Mar 18 1997 12:58 | 20 |
| Show both suits:
1N-2H-2S-3C-3S-4N-5x-5N-7C-7S/7N
or
1N-2H-2S-3C-4C-4N-5x-5y-6D-7C-(7S-7N)
In the first auction, 3C is natural and GF after the spade Xfer.
Playing fast arrival, 3S would show extras. After 5N shows all
the keycards, inviting a grand, the hidden club support can be
shown as a choice of grands.
In the second auction, the 4-4 fit is assumed to be better than
the alleged 5-3 fit. After a 3 keycard response, the queen ask
locates the QC and DK. Not knowing about the spade support, you
bid 7C. If partner decides to risk 7S, showing support, you can
confidently bid 7N.

| Well, a Lightner X/7C by N would confirm S suspicions that
N is void in spades, and a spade ruff would put 7C -1 too.
