| In looking through varous notes, can I correctly assume that there is
no Bliss documentation on line that I can print out?
I'm being asked, and will probably take my ancient Bliss manual to
the copy center if I can't find something I can print out instead.
Thanks,
Charlie

| The documentation (and the compiler) is on the Freeware CDROM.

| Any chance that PostScript versions of the docs are around somewhere?
Among other things, I'd like to convert the .PS files to .PDF format.
Thanks,
Dan S.

| Thanks to Dan Schullman, the BLISS docs are now available in Acrobat3 format.
The BLISS-32 User Manual is TLE::BLISS$:[BLISS.DOC]B32UMAN.PDF.
The BLISS Language Reference is TLE::BLISS$:[BLISS.DOC]BLSLREF.PDF.

Subj: RE: BLISS docs in .PS format
Gerald,
Thanks for the pointers. I just converted them over to Acrobat3
format and seem able to read them just fine. [See www.adobe.com to
get a free copy of the Adobe Acrobat Reader for PCs, MACs, etc.]
*NOTE* that the first time I pulled the PDFs up, they took a while
to view. I'm not sure why, but exiting the reader and looking at
them again later did NOT have this delay. I thought that maybe it
had hung my system, as you had talked about it hanging the CDA
PostScript viewer on the original .PS files.
Some advantages of having them as PDF files... you can then print
portions (or all) of the manuals, and also use Acrobat's search
capabilities to look for specific stuff. I believe that what
remains of the BLISS community will appreciate having access to
the docs once again.
Thanks again,
Dan S.

| Assuming there _is_ a next Freeware CD-ROM, I don't see why not.
