Hello, Daimler-Benz Germany has big trouble after installing eco 4 (800 users blocked): *** Text from customer *** unix 3.2g; mailworks 2.0 /eco 4 /alpha a1005/400 440mb memory. after applying mailworks 2.0 eco 4 the customer has many problems with mailworks and x400. the lsfd logile contains the following errors: lsfd modul 20 error 35, x400 error occured, error api no memory. the x400 interconnect process reported error 4 and was unable to connect the mta agent mailworks due to insufficient memory. *** end of customer text *** They are using the experimental kit as far as I know.... While I can't be sure, it looks like the system may be running into a per-process data size limit. See note 1382 for more details. Another possibility might be that you are running low on swap space - when the system is at it's busiest time, have the customer execute the command swapon -s. That should display a summary of the usage of swap space - if there is less than 10% swap space available, then they are getting very low, and should try to find more swap space. Finally, can you get them a copy of the script in note 1368, have them run it (again, at about the busiest time of the day), and send me the results ([email protected]) - I will see if I can see any other problems. -Stan | |||||
