Hi, My customer uses MAILworks V2.0 ECO02(Japanese localized version) and Teamlinks V2.5(Japanese localized version). A few user's .po file has disappered. Has anyone ever met with the phenomenon? There is the same note entry 1118.* in this conference, but server's version is difference and that note is not the end. It's no error record in mcslog and msslog files. Is it relevant to specific operation from Teamlinks? (For example deleting many mail messages, emptying wastebasket etc...) The user says it was nothing unusual about operation. I haven't got the alightest idea why .po message store file was disappeared. If anyone has ever seen the same problem, please any advise. Regards, -yukari

Were the .po files that disappeared the user's primary message store, or were they additional drawers that the user created? If they were additional drawers, then the user has the ability to delete them from the client. Do your users have the ability to log into their UNIX accounts directly from a terminal window? Is it possible that the user deleted the .po file without realizing what he or she was doing? Is the users alias still defined? My only other suggestion is to look in the /var/opt/DMW/logs/adminlog to make sure that someone didn't delete the account. Other than this, I have never heard of .po files disappearing unless someone deleted them. -Stan |
