Right folks, this subject is due a note of its own, what's your opinion
on the club versus country argument?...
My opinion is that I have almost ZERO sympathy with the clubs. Having
an international player on your team is an honour and the latest saga
with Robbie Fowler makes me sick, the guy was suspended for the last 2
weeks of the season and 3 weeks later when Hoddle announces his latest
England squad Roy Evans pulls him out and books him in for an
operation on his nose. Hoddle may not pick Fowler in future because of
this, (to England's detriment), and the same has happened in other
countries,(Ginola?,Cantona?,Baggio?)....
Maybe we could all answer one question....if you had a choice between
you favourite club winning the league or your country winning the World
Cup which would you choose?...
