| Er, Stuart...is this sudden desire for philosophical discussion about
the state of our game a response to my note yesterday (I forget where)
about the lack of general football topics in this conference?
A comparison of the meat pies on offer at football league grounds would
have done just as well... ;-)

| Dom,
Nope its something that I've been thinking about recently. I did enter
a brief note (which I think Dezzz followed up) in the Arsenal
Topic but nobody seemed to follow on.
Two interesting points arise:
Firstly, people are less interested in the bit by bit taking over of
English football by the Premiership (possibly a bigger threat than the
demise of the cheap shop brand cup), and,
Secondly, our resident Leeds (x3) fan finds it far more interesting
to discuss a spurious transfer rumour than the future of the game.

Wrong.. he's more interested in working... & entering the odd note
when he's not busy..
Cheers,
Rick.

But that note is still on a spurious transfer rumour...
Stuart
PS Rick, you ain't the only one who is busy but some of us can
multi-task.
