| Looks like the end of the road for Milan. They're below halfway in the
league, out of the Italian Cup (eliminated by Inter), one foot out of
the Champion's Cup, and bang goes their last serious chance of a trophy
this year.
And they're not the economic force they once were, as their foragings
(or lack of) in the transfer market clearly show.

> MILAN - VELEZ 0-2
I watched this game on the stadium(I'm Japanese).
This game was not so exciting, because both teams are very defensive.
[I have no confidence about spelling of players' name.]
At the 1st half, both teams cannot get a goal. There is always battle
in the midfield, so nobody cannot took a ball in penalty area.
Both goals are caused by Costacruta(Milan defender #5)'s mistake.
Costacruta pulled down Velez forward(Frorez?) from behind and referee
gave penalty to Velez. Trotta(Velez #2, captain?) kicked this penalty
shot, and Milan goalie Rossi touch the ball, but Rossi cannot stop it.
This was at 5min. of 2nd half.
And Costacruta was taken away his pass to goalie by Velez forward
Asado, and Asado made a floating and curving shot, at the next moment
the ball was in the Milan's goal. This was at about 20min.
Costacruta made another big mistake at 35min, and he was sent away
because he pulled down Velez forward intentionaly.
I have not so much fun, but I think I'm lucky I can watch a big
game in Japan.

| Good report, Katsuhiko. I watched the game on TV (well, most of it) here in
Italy and I have to agree that it wasn't a great advert for football.
Poor Costacurta had an absolute nightmare!
You may be interested to know that Miura, the Japanese forward who
plays for Genoa, is scheduled to make his comeback this Sunday (he's
been sidelined for a couple of months with a head injury). The general
consensus of opinion among Genoa fans is that he's a skilful player who
probably needs a little more time to settle in in Italian football.
