I entered this topic for a number of reasons :

    	1. I had nothing else to do

    	2. I had a piece of Wolves news

    	3. I couldn't find a Wolves topic

    Here is my news.

Graham Taylor has sent Paul Stewart back to Liverpool. he says it is
because of an injury and not fan power. Apparently Stewart was booed
at the weekend in the defeat by Derby.

BTW I am a Wolves fan!!

Adie Williams made his debut for the mighty old gold and black a couple of
weeks ago against Sheff utd at Bramall Lane. Since then he has been
outstanding and looks future captain material without question. Having said
that though he went off injured against Palace on saturday so heres hoping
that he'll be fit again this season....

By the way, should introduce myself, I'm Paul based at Dec Park in Reading and
a season ticket holder at the Molineux.

And it was all going so well until last saturday..............

I meant there colours were cool! I actually have no idea what their

As for saying Mark McGhee was a great guy,I stand by that statement
because he done great things for Reading and Leicester plus he was a
great player for the green and white hoops!

Wolves are losers !

The only team I know that rely on a 30+ year old striker, who frankly, is not up to the mark.

People should stop harping on about a team of no-hopers, yes their stadium may be good, and the
pies may taste like butter from a virgin's thighs, but they are still a 1st div(and lucky to be there)
team.

 Get a life

Barnsley 1-3 Wolves

Top result for the Gold and Black on saturday.

The 4000 allocation of tickets were sold out weeks ago so the club decided to
beam the game back to the Molineux.

Amazingly 16000 people turned up.

As the Mail on Sunday put it "any team that can attract 16000 to their home
ground when they are not even playing there deserves to be in the premiership"

Perhaps this hatred stems from the fact that McGhee is a top manager and now
all youve got is a Wolves stalwart from the late eighties and a bloke that
reckons Trevor Morley is the best striker in the division!

Drivel,drivel,drivel....

Let's be serious, wolves have had a great season with old 'Bully' up front, but
do they possess the skill and squad to maintain a serious Prem Challenge?. Or
are they going to be the Southampton of next year ?
They have a huge crowd, but perhaps because they have seen a good team this
year, but the year after next when they're about to be relegated, how many will
they have then. Everyone loves a winning team. (Look at the manu-ers)

Still, best of luck to Wolves, hope they get promotion. It'll give the other
prem sides an easy week.

I'd like to reply to the comments made by Trevor the totally paranoid
Man U fan who thinks I hate his team (dry your eyes son!)

Point One: My reasons for mentioning Man U in .28 was because
I see them as the best side in England (Except for Celtic when they buy
out Wimbledon of course!) I actually hope Man U win everything they
    compete for too!!!

Point two: Just because I choose to follow the fortunes of
one of Englands less fashionable teams is no reason to start getting
stroppy and paranoid.I am a Celtic supporter who just happens to like
Wolves for a bit of interest in English football.

Is there actually any Wolves fans writing in this topic?

    Well....excuse me......

erm...try reading some notes, I am not, nor did I ever pretend to be a
ManU fan. Just for the record...I'm a Celtic fan ! Sorry if this
surprises you, don't think any other noter will be though %^)

And....your note does NOT imply you hope ManU win, quite the reverse !
It reads like you are another person on the "hate ManU" bandwagon coz
it;s the fashionable thing to do. I admire their record, I like
Ferguson as a guy totally committed to the game (too much sometimes)
and will take the opportunity to jump on needless slagging.

And don't think being a fellow Tim will save you from getting an "in
yer face" response from me ! Talk bollocks and ye'll hear about it..

Anyway...enjoy the rest of the season as a Wovles fan.....part time or
    otherwise.

Wolves have appointed former Southampton manager Dave Merrington as
         their new chief scout.

Merrington was sacked by the Saints last summer after serving in
various capacities for more than a decade and assisting in the
development of players like Alan Shearer and Matt Le Tissier.

He's well known to Wolves boss Mark McGhee and assistant Colin Lee
