| Andre,
I have visited Londin in April this year. I have tried to visit any game
in London.
It was only possible to get any ticket by a game of CHELSEA one hour before
the game.
It was not possible to order (reserve) a ticket via phone or letter. I got
answers from all clubs with this comments.
Good Luck,
Heribert

445.2 | Games in London - QPR | AYOV27::FW_TEMP01 | John Hussey - Exiled in jocko land | Mon Sep 19 1994 12:29 | 19 |
| In my experience of living in London for 10 years QPR and Tottenham are
the easiest grounds to get tickets for. However Tottenham are rebuilding
this year so this may not be true. Chelsea are also rebuilding, Arsenal
is always difficult to get into and no-one wants to watch Crystal Palace or
Wimbledon!!!
Therefore matches at QPR are:
Monday October 31st QPR v Liverpool (Always a cracking game/atmosphere)
Sat 19th November QPR v Leeds
Sat 10th December QPR v Man Utd
As per -1 you have to turn up at the ticket office in South Africa Road (White
City tube - Central Line) to buy tickets. It is open to about 6.30pm on
weekdays and also on Saturday mornings until about 12:30.
Hope this helps

| I always go to London/Basingstoke once or twice a year to see Chelsea play
and I've never had problems getting tickets except for the cup-final but
for loads of dosh I even managed to get in there last season.
I often asked a mate of mine in Basingstoke to get me tickets but the last
two times I just went up to the ground a day before the game and bought my
ticket, on both occasions the Bridge was sold out the next day.
If you take your time it's almost always possible to get a ticket.

| In Nov/Dec I'll be travveling to the Bridge again, if anyone is intrested
in comming along from Holland or any other country you're more then welcome.
I'll be taking the nightboat from Hoek van Holland to Harwich on Thuersday
night, go up to Basingstoke to see me mates, get a train to London, shop
and get a ticket, in the evening loads of beer, on Saturday again get a
train to London and on the tube to the Bridge, Beer Beer Beer and a win
by the magic Blues. On Sunday I'll take the dayboat back to good ol' Hollanda.

| Good to see someone with more money than sense. Even at 100.00 a
year for a season ticket it still makes it more expensive than
watching paint dry. After having the misfortune of watching them
paly at OPR I say 100.00 pounds is a a joke.
With and your mate taking a large part of the west stand I don't
think they will have room for Fash the Bash to come back.
