USSR 0 - Italy 0
ITALY fails to qualify. A win was needed in Lenin's stadium but luck
left them when Rizitelli found the post and the rebound was
unfavourable.
Looks like the "Russians" (don't know how to call them these days) had
a couple good chances too.
It is the end of an era for Italy and Azeglio Vicini who will be
replaced by Arigo Sacchi of AC Milan fame for the next campaign, the WC
in the US.
Well done the New Democrats.
