    After upgrading the U.S. Robotics pcmcia card in my laptop from
    28.8 to 33.6, my modem pool connection speed dropped from 26.4 to
    21.6.  No change after backflashing it and reinstalling the upgrade -
    solid as a rock.  Connecting to my ISP went from 26.4 to 24000.  So,
    it's back to 28.8 until this little problem is solved.
    
    Has anyone else seen anything like this??
