1151.0. "Simplifying the language" by BPSOF::GYONGYOSI (HA5CW (CW-blind) @BPS JN97MM) Wed Aug 16 1995 00:33

    Dear Joy-of-lexers!

Recently I found somewhere in this conference a funny note with the
phonetic transcript of an English text. It was a fine challange for
    me to decode it. Hi!
A few days ago I talked with one of my colleauges about French language.
She called it a petrifacition from the stone ages, that needs lots of
updating, retailoring. (She meant syncronising the written form to the
    pronounced forms of the words.)
I wanted to show her the note in question, but the title (Simplifying
the language) was also written in phonetic, that can't recall, so I
    can't find it...
Can anybody give me a pointer?

    Hi Joska --

Wow -- I tried dir/title="langwij" and got it on the first shot. I
guess I must have vaguely recalled having read it in 1990... :-)

    Anyhow, enjoy!

    Cheers,
    Dan

    Dan!

Sorry, I concentrated on the word "simplifying", and I must have made
some faults in my transcription, because dir/title="semplefieng" or
something like that did not work.
Yesterday evening (at home, where I don't have a terminal) I had also
noticed, that I ought not have paciced, but had to try the word "langwej"
    instead.

    Thanks for your helping!

    Jska.
