1136.0. "Phoney sounds" by AUSSIE::WHORLOW (Bushies do it for FREE!) Wed Mar 22 1995 14:59
G'day,
There is a new book out in New Zealand, I heard on the radio this am,
by a 'child genius'. A pricey but relatively small tome, it is the
classic in JOYOFLEX sentiments - an EPI-Tome...
'I sat on a ledge, and thought about what I know.... knowledge.'
is a quote, we were informed. Listners were invited to phone in their
similar thoughts....
'What's that on the road a-head?' was one suggestion
Infamy, infamy, why have they got it in for me.. was another
You will go to a place that's a hot and firey - element
I think you should be getting the picture.. sort of double meanings to
words or words that sum up a sentiment or play on sounds (on the seashore
which witch put in the sandwich?).
Any suggestions for more?
derek
