Note 757 has emphasised the importance if insultancy skills in the modern world. Since it is a recognised branch of literature I would be reluctant to suppress any of it, but sometimes it seems not to be in the right place in this notes file. Rules for this notes string include 1) Crude insults are not permitted (by me or by company policy). The perfect insult leaves the person insulted feeling insulted, but unable to define how. 2) I will delete any reply on a simple mail request or a whim of my own with no explanation given. 3) SHAME on you if a reply of yours gets moved to this string - you should have entered it here in the first place or not at all. This is not a replacement for the "three bricks short of a load" string. It should be quite clear who you are insulting, and in what context. A reference to another note number will usually provide this.

Did the author of .-1 read .0 (in the spirit of which my reply tries to be, although there are some people it's not particularly satisfying to insult)? b |
