My beloved tells me that in Italian circles they say, HEY.....WALIO!! This word is pronounced "WAL-yoh". I get the impression that this is how wives address their husbands when they are in a bad mood (the wife, that is), but I'm not sure that the greeting is restricted to this particular situation. She doesn't know what it means. Does anyone out in JOYland know? Bill |
