440.0. "Okay?" by HAM::SIMON () Tue Nov 24 1987 10:06
Well, I finally made it to Europe on business and I have a major problem.
In an effort to learn German, I have completely forgotten any language
I ever knew. The people here asked me about the origin of a term
and I have heard it a million times but cannot remember. Maybe
someone can help. What is the origin of the term "Okay (O.K.)"?
I thought it might have originated here but alas, I have forgotten.
Any help would be welcome.
Denise Simon
(Forgot to set my personal name - "Umarmungen immer wilkommen").

| There was a discussion on this starting on 411.102. It's a bit mixed
up with other things though.
