While waiting for an allergy shot yesterday, I came across the
following (in the November '86 issue of 'Games' magazine.)

"Aid and Abet Punsters Day," sponsored by
Punsters Unlimited, encourages the creation
and appreciation of puns. P.U. also registers
puns, providing punsters with serial numbers to
settle disputes over originality. Certificates
