Punctuate and capitalise this sentence and it
makes perfect sense:

that that is is that that is not is not
that that is not that that is is that that
is not that that is not that that is not is
that that is is that not it it is

Who will be the first to post the correct solution?

>Punctuate and capitalise this sentence and it
>makes perfect sense:

You did not specify whether target was 1 sentence or possibly many.
I render thus:

>that that is is that that is not is not
>that that is not that that is is that that
>is not that that is not that that is not is
>that that is is that not it it is

That that is, is.
That that is not, is not.
That that is not that that is is that that is not that that is not.
That that is not is that that is.
Is that not it?
It is!

The large sentence beomes:
That (that is not that that is) is that (that is not that that is not).

Is that not it?

 This proposal is slightly different:

>that that is is that that is not is not
>that that is not that that is is that that
>is not that that is not that that is not is
>that that is is that not it it is

That, that is, is.
That, that is not, is not.
That, that is not that, that is, is that, that is not.
That, that is not that, that is not, is that, that is.
Is that not it ? It is !

    OK gang--try,

It was and I said not but.

    (One sentence only...)

"It was 'and'," I said, "not 'but.'" (unsure of punctuation,
because my Warriner's is at home.

Another way to punctuate that is

It was "and," I said, not "but."

      And yet another:

It was 'and;' I said not, "but."

It was, and I said not, but...

Gee--the answer I had in mind was

It was "and" I said, not "but".

which was entered by several. However, everyone else gets points
for creativity (and equally correct answers)...

As an ex-teacher, I continually berated teachers who marked only
"right" answers, and ignored correct and original answers (which
    are much more interesting)...
