K** H**** Wins Management Slogan Contest


K** H****, [a DEC supervisor who works in New Hampshire.  To minimize
embarrassment, I am omitting his name and job title.  Ed.], was recently
awarded first prize in the U.S. Area Customer Administrative Services Focus
Project Slogan contest.  K**'s winning slogan was
'DIGITAL'S COMMITMENT TO CUSTOMER ORDER MANAGEMENT EXCELLENCE.'



Although no comment is necessary, I note that Mr. H****'s slogan omitted to
assert anything about the nature, quality, or extent of such commitment.
Also, one wonders from the name of the contest whether they screened out
all entries not having at least four consecutive nouns.

I wonder if Digital has a Customer Order Management Excellence group, or
committee.  I certainly wouldn't want to work for a group with the obvious
acronym!
