65.0. "2 items" by EIFFEL::CRIMMIN () Mon Apr 08 1985 17:32

From the lips of Harvey Leonard, the meteorologist:

	The clouds will be overspreading the area throughout
	the evening.

From a DEC employee comes the word combo "administrivia", which
I had never heard before.

Alistair MacLean also used the word overspreading in his
war thriller "The Guns of Navarone": "Reception was very poor -
Brown blamed the violent static on the dark, convoluted thunderheads steadily creeping up astern, now overspreading almost half the sky - but adequate."

Let me try that MacLean quote again.... "Brown blamed the violent
static on the dark, convoluted thunderheads steadily creeping up
astern, now overspreading almost half the sky..."

I've heard "administrivia" off and on. It is used in the header for the
SF-Lovers Digest, for instance.
