Yes, and his second book is "Metamagical Themas," not "Mathemagical..."
The articles in this book were taken from Hofstadter's Scientific
American column of the same name. He took over Martin Gardner's
"Mathematical Games" column, and the titles are anagrams of each other.

| For those of you who don't know, "Metamagical Themas" is an anagram
of "Mathematical Games", which I think is a nice tribute.

And apparently, "Douglas R. Hofstadter" is an anagram of "Martin
Gardner", though I haven't checked personally. But equally a nice tribute,
don't you think.
