I am sorry to report the passing away of HaRav Shaul Yisraeli. He was
considered one of the leaders of the National Religious in Israel and
stood at the head of Merkaz HaRav in Jerusalem. For those who do not
know of the institue, it is considered of the centers of National
Religious thought and leadership in Israel. I personally had the
privilege of hearing some lessons from him during the weekends I used
to stay there while serving nearby.
