1457.0. "Noters outside of DEC" by WRKSYS::GLICKLER () Mon Apr 10 1995 17:03

Question:

Is this conference accessible from the internet?
If so, how?

I will be leaving in a week and would like to continue
participating in this conference.

Also, in a more general vein, how do I find out which
conferences are available from the outside and how to
get to them?

Shelly

PS - This is being cross-posted in a few conferences.

    Shelly -

As far as I know, NONE of the notefiles inside Digital are accessible
from the Internet. Some of the notesfiles are mirrored to dec.*
newsgroups, but they don't propogate outside of the firewalls. In
addition there are some notefiles which customers can dial-in and
access, again not thru the Internet.

    Shelly,

You probably got your answer that you can't. However, there are quite
a few Internet providers around, depending where you are. Netcom comes
to mind first. For about $20 a month you can access many more people
than you did when working for Digital.
