I got the attached message unsolicited, no idea of where they got my
name. Is this bulletin board kosher? Is anybody familiar with them?

Shalom David!
My name is Susanna, and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you
and your loved ones all the best, and also to invite you to a very special
place in Cyber-Space: Luach, the Jewish On Line Service.
Luach is an Online service devoted to Jews of all walks of life, regardless
of their backgrounds or affiliation. In a word, it is an Online Service for
Jews, no matter where they come from or how much or little their practice
or know about their Judaism. At Luach, we believe that just like in the
outside world we have Community Centers where we can establish links
with other members of our community, Jews should also have a similar
place in Cyber-space. A place we can call *OURS*, where we can strive
as Jews and share our ideas without having to watch who "listens", or
worrying about being attacked just because of our beliefs. A place where
we can call things as we see them, and most importantly, by their names!!!
At Luach, we have a number of conferences that cover anything from chit-
chat (Shlomo's electronic cafe), to the Esoteric, political issues, books,
religion, humor, women issues, Jewish singles, and many more hosting
various newsletters that we receive regularly through the Internet.
Additionally, we have several libraries with Files of Jewish Interest, games,
and a chat system that will enable you to meet our very friendly crowd.
We host weekly rendezvous every thursday night at 10:00 EST.

It seems to have been sent out to all the people subscribing to a
mailing list on nysernet.org (mail-jewish, kol-isha, etc). I would
describe it as low-level spamming. Wrt the bbs itself, I have no idea,
but I treated it like any other spams I got.
