1406.0. "Services in Paris" by 25472::STERNBERG () Mon Apr 04 1994 19:49

    I will be in Paris from April 17 - 24 and would like to go to services
    on Friday night during that week. Does anyone know of a conservative
    synagogue in the city or suburbs that has Friday night services?

    Thanks,
    Diane

    You'll have a problem with conservative anything in Europe. There are
    two main movements there, Liberal(European Reform) and Orthodox. Here
    I belong to a Traditional-Conservative synagogue, but when I'm abroad I
    go to the nearest Orthodox synagogue, Sephardic or Ashkenazi (although
    I prefer Sepahardic).

    There are thousands of (orthodox) synagogues in Paris. It depends where
    you will be.
