There was what appears to be a terrorist act here in New York yesterday, March 1. A van carrying about 15 Lubabitcher students was attacked with automatic weapons as it approached the Brooklyn bridge from FDR Drive. A single Lebanese gunman (who has since been apprehended) fired three different vollies of bullets into the van hitting four boys. Two of the boys were critically injured (one is brain dead, R'L) and two others were less seriously injured. Apparently, the van had been followed the day before and a plate number was taken down. They found the car abandoned and its owner out of the country the day of the attack. Hashen Yerachem Ephraim
