1347.0. "How to memorialize a Survivor?" by SQUEST::TPSYS::WEST () Fri Jul 16 1993 20:55

	A dear friend of ours just died, and I would like to know how
	to have her name and her mother's name memorialized, preferably
	in Israel.

	She (as a teenager) and her mother were active in the Jewish
	underground around Berlin during WWII and they went thru many
	severe difficulties, both under the Germans and under the Russians.

	As a memorial for her daughter, I would like to know of any place
	where

	1. one could research this and see if they're names are already listed

	2. their names could be listed, enscribed, whatever for a memorial.

	Thank you

	Bob

Yad Vashem might keep some lists on survivors. Also check with the
Weisenthal Center in Los Angeles.

    Contact your local Hadassah chapter. They could help steer you in the
    right direction.
